Cool item for facelift patients!
I was looking through an Airlines catalogue recently and came across a cool looking travel pillow that allows you to "sleep sitting up." It's specifically designed to go all the way around your neck and close in the front with velcro. I thought it would be great for facelift patients who have to sleep on their back with their head elevated for two weeks after surgery. So I ordered one (the inflatable one) and I think it's awesome. They also make one that's stuffed with foam that you don't inflate. The inflatable one is $25 and the foam one is $50. I think facelift patients should check this out. Here's what to do.
Go to magellans.com Then click on the circle at the top right of the page that says "order by catalogue" Then click on where it says "virtual catalogue" Or you can enter the item number in the appropriate box. The foam travel neck collar item # is if397 That's the one for $50. The inflatable one for $25 is item #if383 If you want you can look through the catalogue and the "Komfort Kollars" as they are called, are located on pages 14 and 15 of the virtual catalogue. I've purchased several things from them...very cool stuff. But this neck collar is great for the plane ride as well as for your first two weeks after surgery when you need to keep your head still and straight as much as possible to prevent hematomas from developing.
Give it a try...see what you think. They come in small, medium and large...I got the medium one. Check out the measurements and choose the one that fits you best. Good luck!
Love, Didi
